Banana bread ingredients :
~ 3 ripe bananas
~ 2 cups flour
~ 1/4 tsp salt
~ 1 tsp baking soda
~ 1 egg
~ 1 cup sugar
~ 1/2 cup cooking oil
~ 2 Tbps liquid milk
~ 1/2 tsp vanilla
~ 1/2 cup walnuts / almonds (optional)
How to make banana bread:
~ Preheat the oven to 160 Celsius.
~ Spread butter and flour lightly in the pan.
• Mix flour, salt and baking soda. Stir well, set aside
• In a separate place. Stir with a spatula the eggs, sugar and oil until well combined.
• Mix dry ingredients into wet mixture. Mix well, then add the milk, banana and vanilla. Stir back.
• Then add walnuts or almonds. Stir well until all mixed.
• Pour into the tin. Bake for 50-75 minutes.
• Check with a toothpick, if it is clean then it is cooked.
• Cool on a cooling rack. Slice and banana bread ready to be served.
